Watch closures come in many different styles and configurations. Here you will find the most common types available on the watches sold at Precision Watches & Jewelry as well as some explanation of the terms used to describe the various clasp and buckle types. If you have a question about any of these, please be sure to contact us.
Pushbutton Deployment Clasp
Unlike a traditional deployment clasp, this clasp has buttons on either side of the clasp that must be pinched to release. This ensures the clasp does not open on its own.
Hidden (Butterfly) Clasp
This clasp creates the illusion of a seamless band. Some have push-button release mechanisms for added security.
