The Omega Speedmaster Grey Side of the Moon blends lunar-inspired artistry with advanced ceramic engineering, creating a chronograph that honors OMEGA’s pioneering presence in space. This 44.25 mm model features a plasma-treated grey ceramic case, a lunar-themed movement finish, and a manual-winding Master Chronometer calibre that celebrates both mechanical tradition and cosmic exploration.

Plasma-Treated Grey Ceramic Case

The case is crafted from polished-brushed grey ceramic enhanced by OMEGA’s plasma treatment, giving it a subtle metallic glow while preserving the strength and scratch resistance of ceramic. Its brushed grey ceramic bezel features a laser-engraved tachymeter scale filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent readability and a cohesive monochrome aesthetic. At 44.25 mm in diameter with a 50 mm lug-to-lug span, the watch offers a bold yet balanced presence on the wrist.

A Dial and Movement Engraved with Lunar Topography

Beneath the sapphire crystal, a skeletonized grey anodised aluminium dial reveals sections of the manually finished movement. The main plate and bridges have been laser-ablated to depict the moon’s surface—the near side visible from the dial, and the far side displayed through the exhibition caseback.

The dial layout includes a small-seconds display at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute recorder at 3 o’clock, and a 12-hour recorder at 6 o’clock.
