The Hublot Big Bang Ferrari series celebrates a high-octane relationship between Hublot and Ferrari. Launched around 2011-2012, it evolved the Big Bang chronograph, Hublot’s flagship since 2005, and combined it with Ferrari-inspired details like dashboard motifs, competition colors, and sporty materials. It features bold case sizes, precise movements, and a unique skeletonized dial.
Precision Watches proudly welcomes a Big Bang Ferrari to our collection, specifically this pre-owned Las Vegas 44MM Titanium Diamonds 410.NX.0137.VR.1104.FLV14, priced at $19,995. Accented with diamonds and other Las Vegas-themed design elements, it captures the city’s vibrant nightlife and Ferrari’s high-performance legacy. Here are some things we noted when experiencing it in person.
Hublot Big Bang Ferrari Watch Review
With its diamond accents and a bright red bracelet, this watch makes quite an impression. Here’s what we noticed in our review.
Appearance
When it comes to appearance, it’s hard to know where to start. The watch is so overwhelming. So, let’s begin with the dial.
The watch features two sapphires: one that covers the dial and the other that is actually the dial. Therefore, rather than describing the dial as skeletonized, it’s more of a ghost dial, with everything printed directly on the plates of the Unico movement, including the indexing, the minutes, and the Ferrari prancing horse logo. It creates a floating effect.
We also see a unique approach to expressing the layers. Going from the top down, the sapphire and bezel are bound by bolts. The bezel itself features a layered, machined design to create a sandwiched look. Next are the caseback, case bottom with chronograph pushers, resin inserts, and beveled gaskets, completing the thick, chunky profile.
Leaving the best for last, the satin-finished, polished titanium case is set off by a bezel embedded with 126 brilliant-cut diamonds, truly enhancing the Vegas-style appeal.
The Fit
With a watch this big and bold, fit could be an issue, but most agree it wears well, even on a small-to-medium-sized wrist. Why? Comfort and ergonomics.
The watch has a flat top and short lugs, so it doesn’t flare or project. Moreover, the titanium is super lightweight, so it doesn’t move around or feel heavy on the wrist. It may sit a bit tall under a dress shirt, but the Big Bang Ferrari isn’t meant to hide beneath a cuff- it’s a watch that wants to be seen.
Functionality
The design pays homage to Ferrari-like aesthetics, featuring a column wheel at 6 o’clock that cycles through the chronograph’s start, stop, and reset. The yellow disc at 3 o’clock features a skeletonized date, creating a subtle yet impactful highlight.
It sits in the middle of a subdial- a 60-minute chronometer counter. When the second hand of the subdial completes its rotation, the date window reveals both the date and the elapsed minutes.
The Strap
The fit is, in part, owed to a highly comfortable strap. It’s natural rubber with an Alcantra suede-like upper, producing the ideal blend of durability and softness. It also features a seatbelt-type release, another nod to Ferrari’s engineering.
The strap on our model is a vibrant red, further enhancing the watch’s outrageous good looks and perfectly complementing the tip of the second hand. Sporty single stitching offers a racy aesthetic.
Caseback and Movement
Flipping the watch over, you see its true mechanical showcase. The sapphire exhibition caseback allows you to witness the automatic chronograph HUB1241 Unico movement, putting the Ferrari-like engineering on display. It is outlined by a large, skeletonized rotor shaped like a Ferrari wheel rim.
The minute hand runs directly off the barrel, maintaining amplitude without slowing down the watch. While this movement depletes power, its 72-hour power reserve means you have nothing to worry about.
Hublot Big Bang Ferrari Las Vegas 44mm History
Hublot first introduced the Big Bang in 2025, built around its Art of Fusion movement. It quickly became the brand’s flagship model. Between 2010 and 2012, the Unico movement was added, offering a flyback function, a visible column wheel on the dial, skeletonized architecture, and a 72-hour power reserve.
Right around that time, in 2011, the watch brand announced its partnership with Ferrari, becoming the Official Watch & Official Timekeeper of the racecar watch name. Shortly after, in 2012, it launched the first Big Bang Ferrari based on the Unico platform. It featured a bold yet ergonomic 45 mm case, lateral inserts resembling a race car’s fine lines, a quick-release strap, a skeletal design with a Ferrari speedometer-like minute counter, and a prancing horse at 6 o’clock.
Hublot would produce various Big Bang Ferrari models, but the Las Vegas 44 mm Titanium Diamonds may be the most eye-catching. Released around 2014, when Hublot had a strong presence in Vegas, it featured everything that would appeal to high rollers- a stunning design, glittering diamonds, and a bold appearance. The Ferrari theme ties in nicely, as a luxury brand offering fast-paced excitement.
