Appearance
When it comes to appearance, it’s hard to know where to start. The watch is so overwhelming. So, let’s begin with the dial.
The watch features two sapphires: one that covers the dial and the other that is actually the dial. Therefore, rather than describing the dial as skeletonized, it’s more of a ghost dial, with everything printed directly on the plates of the Unico movement, including the indexing, the minutes, and the Ferrari prancing horse logo. It creates a floating effect.
We also see a unique approach to expressing the layers. Going from the top down, the sapphire and bezel are bound by bolts. The bezel itself features a layered, machined design to create a sandwiched look. Next are the caseback, case bottom with chronograph pushers, resin inserts, and beveled gaskets, completing the thick, chunky profile.
Leaving the best for last, the satin-finished, polished titanium case is set off by a bezel embedded with 126 brilliant-cut diamonds, truly enhancing the Vegas-style appeal.
The Fit
With a watch this big and bold, fit could be an issue, but most agree it wears well, even on a small-to-medium-sized wrist. Why? Comfort and ergonomics.
The watch has a flat top and short lugs, so it doesn’t flare or project. Moreover, the titanium is super lightweight, so it doesn’t move around or feel heavy on the wrist. It may sit a bit tall under a dress shirt, but the Big Bang Ferrari isn’t meant to hide beneath a cuff- it’s a watch that wants to be seen.
Functionality
The design pays homage to Ferrari-like aesthetics, featuring a column wheel at 6 o’clock that cycles through the chronograph’s start, stop, and reset. The yellow disc at 3 o’clock features a skeletonized date, creating a subtle yet impactful highlight.
It sits in the middle of a subdial- a 60-minute chronometer counter. When the second hand of the subdial completes its rotation, the date window reveals both the date and the elapsed minutes.
The Strap
The fit is, in part, owed to a highly comfortable strap. It’s natural rubber with an Alcantra suede-like upper, producing the ideal blend of durability and softness. It also features a seatbelt-type release, another nod to Ferrari’s engineering.

Caseback and Movement
Flipping the watch over, you see its true mechanical showcase. The sapphire exhibition caseback allows you to witness the automatic chronograph HUB1241 Unico movement, putting the Ferrari-like engineering on display. It is outlined by a large, skeletonized rotor shaped like a Ferrari wheel rim.
The minute hand runs directly off the barrel, maintaining amplitude without slowing down the watch. While this movement depletes power, its 72-hour power reserve means you have nothing to worry about.
