Precision Watches is continuing to grow, and we’re currently looking to add experienced Watchmakers, Watch Technicians, and Polishers to our team.
We are currently hiring for watchmaker, watch technician, and watch polisher positions in the Greater Philadelphia area, based out of our in-house luxury watch repair center in Lower Gwynedd Township, Pennsylvania.
We’ve recently expanded into a new, purpose-built retail showroom and luxury watch repair center designed to support high-level watchmaking and finishing work. The space is already in use daily—servicing, restoring, and preparing timepieces for clients who expect precision and care at every step.
As demand for professional watch repair continues to increase, we’re looking for skilled individuals who value craftsmanship, consistency, and working with fine mechanical watches in a focused, in-house environment.
The Role
This is a full-time, in-person position working within our modern repair facility. You’ll be handling a wide range of watches, from quartz movements to high-end mechanical and automatic timepieces, with a strong emphasis on quality control and long-term reliability.
Our service department regularly works on luxury brands such as Rolex, Omega, Breitling, Cartier, and others. Each watch is treated individually—this role is well-suited for someone who takes pride in careful diagnostics, clean execution, and thoughtful refinishing.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates with real bench experience and a strong understanding of professional watch repair and servicing. The ideal person is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently while meeting high standards.
Key qualifications include:
- Several years of experience as a watchmaker, watch technician, or watch polisher
- CW21 certification or comparable proof of watchmaking expertise
- Hands-on experience servicing both quartz and mechanical movements
- Familiarity with commonly used calibers such as the ETA 7750 and similar movements
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Consistent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Experience with watch and/or jewelry polishing and refinishing (strongly preferred)
Certification from programs such as Lititz Watch Technicum, SAWTA, AWCI, Swatch Group, or Richemont is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Test and evaluate watches to ensure proper function and performance
- Perform maintenance, complete overhauls, quartz repairs, and part replacements
- Polish and refinish watches and/or jewelry to brand and client standards
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with professional watchmaking practices
Why Work at Precision Watches?
Precision Watches is a family-owned business built on long-term relationships and technical expertise. Our focus has always been on doing the work correctly, not rushing volume through the bench.
Our in-house watchmakers work in a well-equipped, modern repair center, with access to the tools and resources needed for professional luxury watch repair. For the right candidate, there is also potential for brand-specific training as part of continued professional development.
