Superior Aesthetics
It’s impossible to talk about this watch without mentioning its sheer beauty. The rectangular case creates a clean line with the bracelet, providing an elegant appearance, especially on a smaller wrist. The overall impression is that of a continuous, sculpted gold cuff with a watch embedded in it.
Although the watch is available in various dial colors and bracelet materials, the one in our collection features a cream-colored ivory face and rose gold accents. It’s a warm look that pays homage to vintage aesthetics.
The dial itself is simply exquisite, with bold Roman numerals at 12 and 6. The other markers are embedded diamonds. These gems also frame the face, set into the lugs, and there is another diamond on the crown- a great added touch.

A Lightweight Fit
The slender design indicates a comfortable fit, and once on the wrist, this watch does not disappoint. The case curves gently, flowing with your movement, while the short links on the bracelet provide flexibility without feeling stiff. Once sized correctly, by removing the links, it tends to stay in place with minimal sliding. Secure and solid, its functionality makes it easy to put the watch on and take it off.
Caseback and Movement: Getting Inside the Engine
The watch features an 18K rose gold non-transparent caseback. It complements the design perfectly, curving slightly to fit the wrist while offering understated elegance.
The quartz movement belongs to the Patek E15 family, ensuring high accuracy and reliability. With no winding, it’s a low-maintenance choice for ladies on the go. Simply change the battery every 2-3 years with regular use.
Its water resistance is rated to 30 meters, meaning it can withstand everyday splashes, but should not be worn while swimming or showering.

History of the Patek Philippe Twenty-4 Rose Gold Diamonds 4910/11R-001
In the late 1990s, the landscape of women’s luxury watches was fairly limited—most designs were either delicate jewelry pieces or scaled-down versions of men’s models. Patek Philippe recognized an opportunity to create something purposefully designed for modern women.
The company set out to create a watch women could easily wear 24/7 without much fuss. They introduced the Twenty-4 with quartz movement, which didn’t require winding. Despite the elegant look, it was priced as an ‘entry-level watch’ that a woman could buy for herself.
The watches were such a hit that in 2000-2001, just a year after the original came out, full gold versions were added, such as the 4910/11R-001 we are featuring in our collection. The brand also continued to evolve the model with various metals, dial colors, and even a rounded face.
About the Patek Philippe Brand
Patek Philippe was founded in 1839 in Geneva, Switzerland, by Antoine Norbert de Patek and Francis Czapek. When the partnership ended in 1845, Czapek was replaced by Jean-Adrien Philippe, who demanded that his name be added, and Patek Philippe was born.
