The Rolex Yacht-Master’s history can be traced back to 1992, first released as a reboot of the classic Submariner. Despite it’s age, the watch has become one of the brand’s most iconic pieces. Now, Rolex is introducing a brand new version of the Yacht-Master, the notable nautical watch, for the first time in Everose Rolesor, with a dark chocolate dial, and the soft pink hue we love about Everose Gold. Rolesor of course being the combination of gold and steel on a Rolex watch which has been a signature feature of the brand since 1933.
On the new and improved Yacht-Master, the bezel, as well as the center bracelet links, are all made of 18k Everose gold; the winding crown, the middle case, and the outer bracelet links are made of 904L steel. The new Yacht-Master 40 also carries the Superlative Chronometer certification redefined by Rolex in 2015, which ensures singular performance on the wrist. There is a variation made with a pave diamond dial, Rolex Yacht-Master reference number 126655.
In 2015, Rolex unveiled this sports watch on a new strap called the Oysterflex. There are multiple versions of the 2015 Yacht-Master, each with important differences. Yacht-Master 116655 is 40mm, it also comes in Yacht-Master 268655 featuring a 37mm wide version.
