The newest Bell and Ross radar watch replaces hands with three aircraft flying across a green-tinted screen.
Bell & Ross calls it the BR-03 Green Radar Ceramic, and it is the first Radar built in the 41mm BR-03 case. The display borrows from two earlier Radar watches, then adds luminous trails behind each aircraft, the way a radar screen shows a sweep.
This guide covers what the new Bell & Ross Green Radar changes, how its display works, and what to know about price and availability.
What Is the Bell and Ross Radar Watch?
The Radar idea started in 2010 with the BR 01 Radar. It dropped conventional hands for rotating discs, inspired by an air traffic control radar. In 2011, the BR 01 Red Radar added a red sapphire crystal over the dial.
A decade later, the 2021 BR 03-92 Red Radar Ceramic moved the concept into a 42mm ceramic case with aircraft-shaped indicators. Bell & Ross limited that edition to 999 pieces, and it was the third model in the Radar family.
All of it traces back to the circle-within-a-square BR 01 of 2005. For more on how that watch shaped the brand, read our guide to Bell & Ross history.
How the Green Radar Tells Time
The Green Radar uses three superimposed rotating discs in place of hands. Each disc carries a different aircraft, treated with Dark Green Super-LumiNova, so the dial glows green in the dark.
The outermost Falcon indicates the hours. The Rafale tracks the minutes. The Neuron, an experimental stealth uncrewed combat aerial vehicle, handles the seconds with its own 60-second rotation.
Fixed hour markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12, along with graduations and a target-style marking, give you the reference points to read it. The new detail is the set of luminous trails behind the aircraft. They mimic the marks a real radar leaves as it sweeps, and they combine two ideas that had only appeared separately in the family.
Ceramic Case and Green Sapphire Crystal
The case keeps the Bell & Ross square watch silhouette, now 41mm wide and 10.6mm thick, in microblasted black ceramic. That makes it the most compact ceramic Radar so far.
A sapphire crystal, tinted green throughout, carries an anti-reflective coating and a target marking applied beneath it. The solid caseback is engraved with the three aircraft on the dial: Falcon, Rafale, and Neuron. Water resistance is 100 meters.
It joins the Bell & Ross BR03 family, the square-case line built around the brand’s cockpit-instrument look.
Movement and Straps
Inside runs the automatic BR-CAL.327, built on a Sellita SW300-1 base. It beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, stores 54 hours of power reserve, and drives the three discs. The watch shows hours, minutes, and seconds only.
It comes on a black rubber strap, with a second black synthetic fabric strap included. Both close with a steel pin buckle with a black PVD finish.

Where the Green Radar Fits in the Bell & Ross Lineup
The Green Radar is one of several recent additions. Earlier this year, we covered the Bell & Ross BR-05 GMT, another green-dialed release, built around an automatic steel GMT movement and an integrated bracelet.
If you are choosing between the two square-case families, our comparison of BR-03 vs BR-05 explains how they differ.
