It divided opinion at the time, developed a devoted following afterward, and was quietly discontinued in 2021.
In September 2026, Tudor brought it back. The new Northflag keeps the 40mm integrated-bracelet case, the black dial, and the yellow accents that made the original instantly recognisable, but the power reserve indicator is gone, replaced by a genuine GMT function for tracking a second time zone. Inside is the Calibre MT5652-U, certified to both COSC chronometer standards and Tudor’s own METAS Master Chronometer testing, the same rigorous standard used across the brand’s most serious watches.

Case : 40mm in diameter and 12.7mm thick, in 316L stainless steel with satin-brushed and polished finishes, a domed sapphire crystal over the dial, and an open caseback with a second sapphire crystal revealing the movement.
Dial and bezel : A black dial with large Arabic numerals and monobloc luminous ceramic markers, a 24-hour graduated rehaut around the edge, and a yellow-tipped GMT hand for tracking a second time zone. The fixed steel bezel keeps the tool-like, purposeful look of the original.
Bracelet : An integrated two-link stainless steel bracelet with Tudor’s T-fit rapid adjustment clasp, offering tool-free sizing across a range of positions.
Movement : The Manufacture Calibre MT5652-U, an automatic movement with an integrated GMT function, a silicon balance spring, and both COSC chronometer certification and Tudor’s METAS Master Chronometer certification, with a 65-hour power reserve.
