The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon “Black Black” reimagines the classic Speedmaster aesthetic with a full monochrome treatment, advanced ceramic engineering, and space-inspired detailing. This 44.25 mm model combines stealth-like styling with Master Chronometer precision, offering a bold, contemporary take on OMEGA’s legendary chronograph.

The case is made from polished-brushed black ceramic, providing a lightweight yet highly durable exterior. Its brushed black ceramic bezel features a laser-engraved tachymeter scale filled with black Grand Feu enamel, blending seamlessly into the all-black aesthetic. With a 44.25 mm diameter and a 50 mm lug-to-lug length, the watch delivers a powerful presence while maintaining wearable proportions.

Beneath the sapphire crystal sits a laser-sand-blasted ceramic dial, rendered entirely in black to create a deep, uniform finish. The layout includes a small-seconds subdial at 9 o’clock and a dual 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph recorder at 3 o’clock. A date window at 6 o’clock adds everyday practicality.

The rotor, bridges, and main plate are matte blackened, with engravings executed in black varnish. Certified to the highest standards of accuracy, anti-magnetism, and durability, the movement provides a 60-hour power reserve and exceptional chronograph performance.

Completing the watch is a black coated nylon fabric strap that balances durability and comfort. It is secured by a ceramic foldover clasp with a ceramised titanium frame-spring mechanism, ensuring strength, lightness, and a secure fit during active wear.
